WELCOME TO OUR PODCAST LIBRARY
It is the mission of our parish to inspire, inform, teach and preach God’s message to His people through the use of podcasts.
It is our hope that these selections of homilies, teachings on scripture, tradition, spiritual matters and Catholic beliefs along with talks from speakers who have visited our parish will lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
St. Patrick is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are a spirit-filled Roman Catholic community that challenges itself to be a family of hospitality and life-giving worship, and one that hears the Word of God and takes that Word out into the world.
There are five foundational areas emphasized in all we do at St. Patrick:
† Good Liturgy Builds Faith – We are committed to celebrating the
† Hospitality – This important gift may mean different things to different people. We are challenged by our faith in Christ to acknowledge the presence of the person, to be inclusive in our attitude toward every person, and to be aware of the dignity of every person.
† Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure – A way of life that centers on generosity at all times of our lives. For
† Social Justice – Throughout the Bible, beginning with the Prophets who said caring for others is a command, Jesus constantly brought in the lowly and excluded and we are called to this “right” justice. Justice (Hesed in Hebrew)
† Formation – “There is nothing more dangerous than a Catholic who knows their faith.” This is what I tell parishioners. From the smallest child, elementary aged, middle school, high school and adults, we are to be formed and shaped in the image of Jesus Christ. Formation is to be first and foremost the transformation of one’s heart and mind to know Jesus Christ and live in that relationship. It is through this journey we can learn the doctrine of our Catholic faith. To know Jesus Christ first is the way that a Catholic becomes a dangerous person, because it will invite others to change their hearts. St. Patrick is a parish that is dedicated to the vision of the Second Vatican Council. What does that mean? Come and see. Please accept our invitation to join us at the table of the Lord. We look forward to meeting you.
Thank you for visiting. Our mission is to share our blessings with the world and our own parish family. We hope these podcasts will nourish many minds, hearts and souls.
Peace in Christ,
